Autism Education Trust

Under the employment Big Blue Door, I had the opportunity to work on a project for the Autism Education Trust. Similar to the work done for Autism Central, this project involved integrating the Drupal platform with the LMS provided by Learning Pool. The key objective was to ensure that when a user purchases a course on the Autism Education Trust platform, this information is accurately transmitted to the Learning Pool system. This was possible with the help of their exposed API and simpleSAML PHP.

This integration allowed users to access and complete their purchased courses seamlessly. By automating the data transfer between the two systems, we enhanced the user experience, providing a smooth and efficient process for course enrolment and completion. My work ensured that users could easily track and manage their learning journey, maintaining consistency and reliability across both platforms.
